“Everybody has their own needs in their own living environment. We take care of it with the right technology solutions” – this is the claim of the digital branch of the Viessmann Group. It is in charge of new business models, among others, in the field of smart living. One of the Berlin based team’s first start-up foundations is Cary Services (takecary.com).
Inspired by the verb “take care”, Cary takes care of its customers’ household. By means of various services and state of the art technology, Viessmann extends the classic services of its products with Cary: Warmth and a pleasant room climate become a tidy, clean home, in short: a comfortable place.

Currently, Cary customers in Berlin and Munich can choose four different services: Flat cleaning in several extents, laundry service that brings clean clothing right to the flat, parcel pick-up as well as food delivery into the fridge thanks to the latest cooperation with Edeka Bringmeister. Highlight for all offers: Cary works with a network of the city’s best service providers.

Safety guaranteed

Basis of all services are a number of smart-lock-systems, for example by Nuki, Doorbird or Danalock, which are suited for the respective front door. Mounted inside the front door, invisible from the outside, Cary allows service providers to enter the house or the flat for a certain amount of time. Entrance is provided via the smart lock precisely when needed, while Cary stays in contact with the delivery person until he or she has left the building. Furthermore, customers also have the possibility to monitor every entrance by Cary via Cary app.

The smart lock is affixed directly at the door lock. After Cary triggers an electric signal, the mechanism unlocks the door. The Cary principle is also available for apartment buildings. In addition to the lock system the intercom in the flat is integrated into the process. First step is then to open the front door of the building via the intercom, secondly the apartment door will be unlocked. An optional indoor-camera offers an additional safety feature.

Extra help means extra time and extra time means freedom. Cary makes it possible.
